Day 2

Haha, seeing the 'Day 1, Day 2..' makes me feel like i'm plotting out an itinerary for myself.

Have been reading Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus.
And watching GAKUEN ALICE anime!
It's really nice and addictive!

If you happen to watch it on youtube, don't be turned off by the 1st episode cos as usual, 1st episodes are BORING.
Keep watching till 2nd episode and you'll know what i mean.
hehe.
After this maybe i will watch Iris,
cos i heard alot of people saying it's nice!

Anyway, talking about the book..
It caught me captivated by the understanding of the different genders of the author - John Gray.
Well, he has a Ph.D., that's why the awesome book!
Every chapter that i read, i can feel that he fully understands how women think.
Okay actually i'm only halfway through chapter 5
which is a rather nice feeling actually

Here are three useful (and uncommon) tips which i've learnt from the book:

1. If you're a girl and you feel like you've given too much to your partner and have gotten nothing in return, you'll have to learn to make boundaries on how much to give.

It's very OK to give less, and for your guy to give more. (: Do not be afraid of receiving.

But of course, if you're ok with giving then just continue to give.
LOL!

2. Women care for others by worrying. Men help by minimising other people's worry.

We'll have to understand that men and women think differently. Women care for their friends by showing that they worry about them. To men, worrying means you don't trust his ability to do well in something.

So, what to do? Leave them to hide in their caves to think through and they will come out once they've straightened out their thoughts. :\

3. Girls, be happy when your guy is hiding in his cave.

Ok i know that it sounds weird to be happy when your guy is having troubles. But it makes it easier for the guy to come out of the cave when his girl is happy because he will have one less thing to worry. (:

So when your guy is silent, you could probably go on a pleasing excursion like shopping. Do anything that pleases you and can make you relaxed and happy.


Ahhh... does everything make sense now?
